Pure Elephant

Description

Pure Elephant is made following the same process as my Premium MDs. When making an Elephant strain, red, green and white elephant strains are usually blended with typical leaf for a few reasons. First, is because the Pure Elephant leaf is fully mature and thicker and therefore more fibrous than typical speciosa leaf variety resulting in a rougher grind as you can in the picture. It also has a unique aroma and is typically blended with common leaf to have a more common aroma and strength. In general, pure elephant leaf also stronger and more expensive than typical leaf. However, it will be somewhat different than my other elephants. This could be classified as a green or a non fermented red aka “green color reds”.

Pure Elephant is made by using only very large fibrous leaf that are usually red vein and some white vein. However, it is dried in a home with air conditioning and no light slowly like a green or my premium mds with no fermentation. It is grinded once and then hand milled but not as fine as flour consistency common with most of our selections. Color is closer to a green or white than a typical red and same color and process as all my premium mds. This is a super unique strain and one of a kind and limited. Made from 100% oversized red vein and some white vein leaf in Putussibau Kaupus.  We love elephants over here. This is Pure elephant. You can add a little to blends or enjoy alone.
